Prakul is a partner at Prakul & Kunwarpreet LLP. He is an Insolvency Professional, practising Company Secretary, lawyer and Cost Accountant, with prior experience of over three years at M/s. Natco Pharma Limited — a listed entity with a turnover exceeding ₹2,000 crore — on its litigation and secretarial team, where he also assisted the promoters with their private equity investments.
He went on to pursue the Graduate Insolvency Programme to qualify as an Insolvency Professional. As part of the programme, he completed nine months of practical training with Ernst & Young, assisting the successful implementation of a resolution plan for a large steel manufacturer in Maharashtra, and played a critical role in compliance management, litigation, plant visits and operations oversight for a Bhuj-based auto component manufacturer undergoing CIRP. He then trained under the guidance of the Judicial and Technical Members at NCLT, Chennai for three months. After two years of extensive training, Prakul enrolled as an Insolvency Professional with the IBBI.
Kunwarpreet is a partner at Prakul & Kunwarpreet LLP. He is an Insolvency Professional and practising Company Secretary, holding a master's degree in commerce with a major in business policy and corporate governance. He brings prior experience from an insolvency professional entity and a law firm engaged in corporate litigation, corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, including the drafting of resolution plans, and has assisted insolvency professionals in managing more than ten IBC mandates.
He went on to pursue the Graduate Insolvency Programme to qualify as an Insolvency Professional. As part of the programme, he completed nine months of practical training with Deloitte, where he was part of the team handling the CIRP of one of the few group insolvency mandates. He subsequently joined the IBBI as a research associate, working within the CIRP team on inspection and investigation, research, prosecution matters, and the drafting of regulations for pre-packaged insolvency resolution — and has represented clients before the NCLT and NCLAT on several occasions. After two years of extensive training, Kunwarpreet enrolled as an Insolvency Professional with the IBBI.
